Trainers, gear up for Pokémon Go January Community Day! Featuring the charming Grass Quill Pokémon, Rowlet, it’s set to drop on January 6th, from 2:00 to 5:00 pm local time. Rowlet will be out and about, and so will its shiny variant if luck is on your side!

Catching Rowlet Is Just The Beginning!

Evolve Rowlet into Dartrix and then into Decidueye to unlock the powerful Charged Attack Frenzy Plant. With a solid 100 damage power, it’s perfect for both Trainer battles and Gyms and Raids. Decidueye can also learn the Charge Attack Spirit Shackle, dealing 50 damage in Trainer Battles and an impressive 70 damage in Gyms and Raids.

Of course, Community Day means bonuses! Enjoy 3x Stardust and 2x Candy per catch, along with extended three-hour Lure Modules and Incense. If you’re a Trainer of Level 31 or higher, there’s an increased chance of getting Candy XL. Special trades are more tempting with an extra one allowed during the event, and a 50% Stardust reduction for trades.

But wait, there’s more in Pokémon Go January Community Day! Get a bonus Raid Battle until 10:00 pm! It features four-star battles with Dartrix. Beat it, and Rowlet will make a special appearance for 30 minutes around the gym. So, go ahead and check out the game from Google Play Store.

Who’s Rowlet?

Rowlet is a Grass and Flying-type Pokémon. Rowlet has a Max CP of 1196 and was originally found in the Alola region. He’s weak to Ice, Fire, Flying, Poison and Rock-type moves. He’s weather boosted by Sunny and Windy weather. Rowlet’s best moveset in Pokémon GO is Leafage and Seed Bomb.
