Scorn Will Not Have a Photo Mode

Developer Ebb Software has released new details about its upcoming horror shooter Scorn. In its new monthly update, the studio has revealed that Scorn will not feature a photo mode, details about the game’s art book, as well as the system requirements for Scorn’s PC release.

Here are the specs recommended by the studio to run Scorn at 4k/60fps:

  • OS: Windows 10/11
  • Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 3600/Intel Core i7-8700
  • Memory: 16 GB RAM
  • Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 (8 GB)
  • DirectX: Version 12
  • Storage: 50 GB available space
  • Additional Notes: SSD (Solid State Drive)

The recommended specs for Scorn haven’t really changed since they were originally revealed through an update on the game’s Steam page back in June.

The studio has also revealed that Scorn will not feature a photo mode. Instead, the game will feature a minimalistic interface to keep the immersion high.

Scorn is set for release on October 21 on PC and Xbox Series X/S. The studio announced the release date alongside a gameplay trailer earlier this month during the Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase, as well as the PC Gaming Show.
