Sea of Thieves PlayStation 5 Pre-Order Trailer Released

The world of Rare’s Sea of Thieves is now available to pre-order on PlayStation 5 – learn more with the latest trailer for the game.

Sea of Thieves will feature an open world that tasks players with completing voyages from the Gold Hoarders, Order of Souls, and the Merchant Alliance. After creating their own avatar, they’ll be able to venture out in a shared world as they encounter others on their adventures. On their journey, players will come across shipwrecks, messages in bottles, barrels, skeleton ships, ghost fleets, and even monsters like the megalodon and kraken.

To fight off others, players will also be able to use cutlasses, pistols, blunderbusses, and sniper rifles as they set off to fight enemy hordes. The ultimate goal? Get the title of “pirate legend” and access new pieces of content.

Set to release on April 30 for $39.99, all those interested in purchasing Sea of Thieves can do so via the official PlayStation Store website.

A Deluxe Edition for $49.99 and a Premium Edition for $59.99 are also available. In the case of the latter, this edition includes the full Sea of Thieves game, Closed Beta access ahead of launch, an exlusive Pre-Order Weapons and Pet set, all Deluxe Edition content, a Dark Warsmith Ship Set and Costume, a Season 12 Plunder Pass, 5-Days Early Access to Sea of Thieves, and a Diabolical Dog Pet.
