Shin Megami Tensei V daily demon vol. 195 – Sui-Ki

Atlus has released another daily demon video in preparation for Shin Megami Tensei V. These videos each show off a demon that will appear in the upcoming game, offering a new look at their updated appearance and abilities. The latest featured demon is the Brute demon Sui-Ki, check it out with the video below, along with some additional details regarding its real-world lore.

Here is some of the history behind Sui-KI, courtesy of the Megami Tensei wiki:

Sui-Ki (水鬼) whose name means “Water Oni” is of the four oni controlled by Fujiwara-no-Chikata (藤原千方) during the mid-Heian period. Sui-ki can freeze anything to the core.

Sui-Ki made its first appearance in Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne as a member of the Brute Race, and will return as a Brute in Shin Megami Tensei V.

Shin Megami Tensei V is scheduled to arrive on Switch just next week on November 12.
