December 6: On social media, Nintendo just announced the final release date for the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate amiibo. The figure arrives on February 16, 2024.
Sora marks the end of the Smash Bros. amiibo line. Once this figure is out, every character in the game will have received their own figure. Nintendo had already released a bunch when Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS were around and then continued things with Ultimate. Even all of the DLC fighters were given amiibo.
It’s been just over two years since Sora was added to Smash Bros. Ultimate. Needless to say, it’s definitely taken some time for Nintendo to come out with the figure. Plans for the Sora amiibo were officially announced this past September.
