SMITE 2 Founder’s Editions Revealed in Patch 11.3 Update Show

The first open test for SMITE 2 is just around the corner, and you can secure your place with the SMITE 2 Founder’s Editions.

Ever since its announcement at the SMITE World Championships 2024, SMITE 2 has been anticipated by fans and newcomers alike. The Unreal Engine revamp and sequel to Hi-Rez Studios’ original third person MOBA is supposed to enter open testing during the Spring. This fact is looking more and more imminent, as the developers have revealed the contents of the SMITE 2 Founder’s Editions in the Patch 11.3 Update show.

SMITE 2 Founder’s Editions – the Contents

There will be 3 versions of the SMITE 2 Founder’s Editions: Regular, Deluxe and Ultimate.

The Regular Version will grant access to SMITE 2 early on, as well as all SMITE 2 gods that will transfer over from SMITE 1 as well as those that get added later into the game. Purchasers will also get a SMITE 2 Cacodemon Ymir Skin, which was gifted to Beta Testers of the original game, a Founder’s Avatar, Badge and Title, as well as double the amount of Legacy Gems.

With the Deluxe Edition, players will also receive a Cross-Gen Nightstalker Neith Skin, as well as Ascension Passes for 11 Alpha Launch Weekend Gods. Ascension Passes are a new version of the Mastery system. Basically, each god will have a separate battle pass with a free and a premium tier, providing new bonuses and rewards. You’ll still get all the Mastery skins and such, but you can get more with the pass.

With the Ultimate Version, the brand-new Tier 5 Cross-Gen The Fallen Zeus Skin will also be unlocked, as well as Ascension Passes for the first 23 gods added to SMITE 2, and an Ultimate Edition Avatar, Badge and Title. While the price of the Ultimate edition is a hefty $100, a limited-edition Tier 5 skin could be worthwhile for collectors and fanatics of the game.

Can You Get Into the Alpha Without the Founder’s Editions?

Everyone can get a key for the open testing of the sequel, but if you don’t buy a Founder’s Edition, you might only get in later, or not at all. While we still don’t have an official release date for the Alpha, the developers assured everyone that it will come this Spring.
