What Is Chromatic: Exotic?

Chromatic: Exotic is a rare Aura in Sols RNG. It’s a Mutated version of the Chromatic Aura, which was already very rare at 1 in 20,000,000. Your chances of getting a Chromatic: Exotic are lower still, at 1 in 99,999,999. Still not as low as monsters like Impeached or Archangel, but low enough that you won’t see it too often.

Visually, Chromatic: Exotic is similar to the original Chromatic. It features large glowing orbs around the character instead of the small stars Chromatic had. However, it retains the circle on the ground that pulses in time with the music. It still changes colour every second as well. It also features a new version of Chromatic’s iconic accompanying song. This one is more bass-heavy than the original and even features vocals.

Tips For Rolling Chromatic: Exotic

So how can you maximise your chances of rolling a Chromatic: Exotic? Unlike some rare Auras, this one isn’t tied to a particular time or Biome, so there’s nothing you can do in that regard. What you can do, however, is boost your Luck and Roll Speed with the following strategies:

• Equip a Luck-Boosting Item – You can craft these at Jake’s Workshop. Each one increases your Luck, making it more likely that you’ll roll rare Auras. In ascending order of usefulness, these items are the Lucky Glove, Solar Device, Eclipse Device, Jackpot Gauntlet, and Exo Gauntlet.
• Use A Potion – You can find Potions lying on the ground, or craft them via Stella. In either case, they can help your chances by increasing you Luck or Roll Speed. Given how high the current crafting requirements are, the most efficient option is likely still using the Lucky Potions and Speed Potions you find in combination.
• Complete The Obby – At the edge of the map, you’ll find a short Obby section. Completing this will grant you a buff called Basic Blessing, which raises your Luck by 30% for 60 seconds. This is a nice way to boost your Luck, and you can repeat it every few minutes to keep the buff around.
