SEGA is sharing a little bonus with Sonic Superstars players today, as the game has now made a holiday costume available which is very easy to unlock.
The outfit contains new apparel for Sonic to wear and bring cheer and joy to the Northstar Islands. To unlock the holiday costume in Sonic Superstars, choose Sonic in character selection and then press the left or right button when playing Story Mode. It’s totally free on Switch and other platforms.
Thus far SEGA has yet to announce any plans for DLC in Sonic Superstars, though there has been speculation. However, there are technically a couple of extras out right now. The LEGO Sonic skin can be downloaded at no extra cost. There’s also a $5 LEGO Fun Pack offering special skins for Tails, Amy, and Knuckles plus extra stages for Battle Mode. And for those that nab the Digital Deluxe Edition / upgrade, they’ll gain access to the aforementioned LEGO Fun Pack, Sonic Rabbit Skin, Mech Parts for Battle Mode, bonus main menu wallpapers, a digital art book, and mini original soundtrack.
