SONIC X SHADOW GENERATIONS

You may have watched PlayStation’s most recent State of Play. If you did, you’d have seen the reveal from SEGA for SONIC X SHADOW GENERATIONS. But it’s not just coming to PlayStation – Xbox players will be able to get in on the dark action too.

In fact, pretty much all gamers will be able to enjoy SONIC X SHADOW GENERATIONS when it releases to the world in Autumn 2024. That’s because SEGA have confirmed that SONIC X SHADOW GENERATIONS will release on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch and PC.

What is SONIC X SHADOW GENERATIONS?

In SONIC X SHADOW GENERATIONS you’ll find an all-new Shadow story, one that features never-before-seen powers and abilities. It’s here where a bit of focus lands on the old nemesis, Black Doom, as they return to try and take over the world.

Fans will be able to play as Shadow and dive into his dark past to unlock his inner powers. You’ll also be able to explore his backstory and confront familiar foes to save the world and prove why he’s known as the Ultimate Life Form!

A new generation

Want more? Good, because that’s what you are getting in SONIC X SHADOW GENERATIONS. When it drops onto Xbox, PlayStation, Switch and PC it will also include a full remaster of the original Sonic Generations, which combined nostalgia from the iconic 2D era of Sonic with the blistering excitement of modern 3D Sonic gameplay.

The story centres around Sonic and friends as their universe is thrown into chaos when a new threat appears, taking them on a journey through time and dimensions. Players can experience this adventure again with upgraded visuals, new challenges, and more bonus content.

Can’t wait for the release? Come February 15th SEGA will release the Shadow Costume for Sonic in Sonic Superstars. The costume will be free for all Sonic Superstars players and can be equipped when playing in Story Mode.
