Sony’s ‘PS Remote Play’ App Now Supports the DualSense Edge Controller on iOS 16.4 and Later – TouchArcade

TouchArcade Rating:

Sony just pushed out a firmware update for the PS5 a few hours ago, and also updated the PS Remote Play (Free) app right now. Today’s PS Remote Play update brings in support for the DualSense Edge wireless controller on iOS 16.4 and iPadOS 16.4 (and later). The DualSense Edge controller is Sony’s take on the Xbox Elite Controller, but I’ve heard great things. I’m likely going to get one soon, so will be posting about how the support is on iPhone and iPad in the near future hopefully. Check out the DualSense Edge trailer below:

If you use the PS Remote Play app on iOS and are wondering which controller is best for you, read my iOS controller buyer’s guide covering the PS5, Xbox Series X, Backbone One, Razer Kishi V2, and more here covering PS Remote Play as well as native games. Download the PS Remote Play app here and the PS App here. After the Apple event featuring the DualSense controller quite a bit and AAA games on mobile, I’m interested to see if Apple will start selling the Edge controller in its stores worldwide soon. Do you use PS Remote Play on PS5 and do you have a DualSense Edge controller?
