Spirit of the North 2 Announced for PS5, Should Look Foxy in Unreal Engine 5

Publisher Merge Games and developer Infuse Studio have announced Spirit of the North 2, a sequel to the well-liked original adventure. A debut trailer tells us what to expect from the game, which has you playing as a cute fox with a glowing tail.

With a raven companion at your side, your quest is to restore the land’s lost guardians. The sequel looks to expand on what came before with some new features. Your fox is fully customisable and will gain various new abilities as you progress through the story. The game is set within an open world, which you can explore freely, and special runes can be found to upgrade your fox’s abilities. Oh, and it’s being developed in Unreal Engine 5, so it should look great too.

There’s little other information to go on right now, but it’s coming to PS5 at some point in the future — presumably in 2024, though no date has been provided.

Anyway, are you excited for Spirit of the North 2? Tell us in the comments section below.
