Based on the manga series by Tatsuya Endo, Spy x Family features the story of Twilight, the world’s greatest spy who is forced to create a fake family for one of his biggest missions. In the first twelve episodes, we have been introduced to Anya and Yor forger, who will indirectly play a crucial role in maintaining world peace.
Wit Studio and CloverWorks premiered the first season of Spy x Family earlier this year. The creators confirmed that the anime’s first season would run for 25 episodes. However, the season would be divided into two parts, making it a split-cour anime. Part 1 will consist of the first twelve episodes, and Part 2 will feature the rest of the episodes.
Spy x Family recently delivered the spectacular twelfth episode, which concludes Part 1 of the anime series. Now, everyone in the anime community is looking forward to the release of Episode 13, which will come out with Part 2.
Initially, Wit Studio and CloverWorks announced that Part 2 of Spy x Family would start sometime later in 2022. But fortunately, after the incredible finale of Part 1, the Japanese animation studio confirmed that the anime would return in October 2022. It’s honestly thrilling that we’ll get Spy x Family, Chainsaw Man, and Mob Psycho 100 Season 3 in the same month.
Interestingly, the creators also released a new trailer for Part 2, which gives us an idea of what to expect from the upcoming episodes of Spy x Family.

Part 1 of Spy x Family primarily focused on Anya’s journey in the Eden Academy. After a lot of struggle, she finally earned a Stella, and sooner or later, she’ll get close to her target, Damian Desmond. The lighthearted episodes made us fall in love with the Forger family; however, things will get darker in Part 2 of the series. The Government will pressure Loid to complete his mission by dealing with Donovan. On the other hand, Anya and Yor will have to put their skills to use to protect their family. So, we can expect to see some action-packed episodes in Part 2 of Spy x Family.
