Square Enix Confirms Multiplayer Co-Op For Final Fantasy VII: Ever Crisis – Droid Gamers

If Final Fantasy VII: Ever Crisis multiplayer sounds like a dream come true to you, well we’ve got some great news.

If you’ve been following our coverage of the upcoming free-to-play RPG, you may have seen our previous story about the exciting stuff coming out of the Final Fantasy VII: Ever Crisis Twitter. There are battle trailers, a preview of the story, and even some banger remade versions of the original soundtrack songs.

Well, it looks like the surprises aren’t over. The newest short trailer to grace the Final Fantasy VII: Ever Crisis Twitter shows an upcoming feature that will definitely interest prospective players.

Final Fantasy VII: Ever Crisis will feature up to three-player online co-op battles, where you can team up with some buddies to fight bosses as a team. Each player gets to control one character, and you go up against one boss, for a real adventuring party experience.

If you’ve not been following the development of Ever Crisis you might be wondering what all the fuss is about.

What’s It All About?

Well, Final Fantasy VII: Ever Crisis is an upcoming free-to-play mobile game that tries to round up the best bits from all the titles in the Final Fantasy VII universe and package them all together with a wrapping of intense nostalgia.

It looks and appears to play much like an updated version of the original game, with the return of a modified Active Time Battle system, materia, and summons.
