Stake Increases Foothold on F1 Team Through New Name

For the next two F1 seasons, fans will have to get used to the name of crypto casino Stake and its streaming platform Kick. The company has secured full naming rights for the Sauber F1 team, officially rebranding it to Stake F1 Team Kick Sauber from the 2024 campaign.

Stake has levelled up its position to sole title partner

Stake joined Sauber as co-title partner for 2023, sharing naming rights with Alfa Romeo. Now that the latter has departed the situation, Stake has leveled up its position to sole title partner, allowing it to change the name of the Alfa Romeo F1 Team Stake.

Stake-funded streaming platform Kick has also secured naming rights of the chassis for the 2024 and 2025 seasons. Next year’s version will be known as Kick Sauber C44. The team’s X page shared the news on Friday:

The new name will last for two seasons until Audi takes over and rebrands the team again.

Commenting on the partnership with Stake and Kick, Sauber Motorsport Team Representative Alessandro Alunni Bravi said the partnership “is the latest and boldest display of the philosophy that drives us.” He added: “Our goal is to make the next step in finding new and innovative ways to get closer to our fans.”
