Starfield – What are the missions in the Freestar Collective Rangers questline?

You will likely take on many missions over the course of the hours you spend with Starfield, even beyond the ones that advance the main story. A lot of those missions relate to the various factions. One such faction is the Freestar Collective Rangers. Here is our guide telling you what missions you need to clear to finish the Freestar Collective Rangers questline in Starfield.

Starfield – What are the missions in the Freestar Collective Rangers questline?

Some of the faction questlines can go on for a bit, but the Freestar Collective Rangers series is rather brief. You will need to clear the following missions to finish the questline:

  • Job Gone Wrong
  • Deputized
  • Where Hope Is Built
  • Shadows in Neon
  • On the Run
  • Surgical Strike
  • First to Fight, First to Die
  • The Hammer Falls

Once you clear those eight missions, you receive your rewards. The most exciting reward is access to your very own new starship, the Star Eagle.

The Job Gone Wrong mission serves as your introduction to the faction. You’ll find it when you first visit Akila City. You help Marshal Daniel Blake foil a robbery, and he pairs you up with Emma Wilcox for the Deputized mission.

Subsequent missions introduce you to Ron Hope, a powerful NPC who plays a central role in some of the following missions. You must balance your responsibility for the Freestar Collective Rangers (and to the citizens of those areas it protects) with the desire for self-preservation.

If you have trouble with the missions, we’ve got your back. Check our guides for assistance with the Surgical Strike mission and when you have to decide what to do with Ron Hope in The Hammer Falls. The Star Eagle is one of the best ships in the game, and you can potentially access it well before you might acquire comparable vessels.

Starfield is available to purchase on Steam and the Microsoft Store.
