Two teams in desperate need of four points clash on Friday night at the SCG.
The Sydney Swans are hanging on to eighth position despite losing two of their last three against Port Adelaide and Essendon.
The Swans midfield simply struggles to get their hands on the football against the Bombers having 78 less disposals than their opposition but they had more inside 50s and shots on goal.
The Dogs are still in touch with the eight despite their loss to the Lions at the Gabba last Thursday night and their percentage is a very healthy 115.7 heading into round 17.
While a loss would not completely eliminate them from the finals, with the competition being so close, It would make it tough.
