Taito is supporting Switch with yet another release and just announced Taito LD Game Collection. In Japan, it will release on December 14, 2023. There’s no word yet on a western launch but that will likely follow at a later date.
Time Gal HD Remaster, Space Battleship Yamato HD Remaster, and Revenge of the Ninja HD Remaster will all be included. These all previously debuted in arcades as laserdisc games.
Taito LD Game Collection will be sold physically and digitally, including a special edition. The latter comes with a special Blu-ray disc, document collection, “Reika” reproduction mini standee, Time Gal reproduction mini poster, Revenge of the Ninja pamphlet reprint, sound app download code, and a code to download Time Gal Reverse.
