Can the Astons win in F1 23?

The official video game of the 2023 FIA Formula One World Championship, you can play EA Sports’ F1 23 on Xbox, PlayStation and PC right now.

‘Officially’ releasing on June 16th 2023, F1 23 is now playable on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and PC. This comes about via the arrival of the F1 23 Champions Edition, providing early access ahead of the street release.

Take to the grid in F1 23 on Xbox, PlayStation and PC

EA Sports’ F1 23 is the next instalment in the EA and Codemasters franchise, as players get to take to the grid like never before. Building on the games that have gone prior to it, F1 23 will task you with being the ‘last to brake’.

We loved F1 21 and got on pretty well with F1 22 too, but F1 23 should take things to the next level. It comes with pretty much everything you would expect too; all the drivers, the teams and the circuits of the 2023 season.

New Red Flags add further excitement, whilst a 35% race distance opens up the options. Throw in the Las Vegas and Qatar circuits and you’ll get to prove that you can be the next Lewis Hamilton or Max Verstappen.

But there’s more and in EA Sports’ F1 23 the Braking Point story returns. We were big fans of this in F1 21, and so to continue that here should be a reason to be excited. With a career mode kicking alongside that, split-screen and online multiplayer and Racenet Leagues, F1 23 could be the best F1 racer yet.

How to play F1 23 on Xbox

To get involved today you’ll need to splash the cash on the F1 23 Champions Edition. Available across Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation and PC, this grants three days early access on the Standard Edition. It also adds Max Verstappen themed items into your game, an F1 World Bumper Pack and other themed Racing Icons. You’ll also find access to 18,000 PitCoin to spend in-game.

For many it’ll be the early access that the Champions Edition brings which will be of interest. If you can do without that though, expect to find the Standard Edition available on June 16th. That one will be priced around £69.99, with the Champions Edition at £89.99

The usual digital stores will sort you out for each, with the bold links above taking you to the Xbox Store. You can then play on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. Expect similar on PlayStation and PC.

Our review of F1 23 on Xbox Series X|S is coming.
