TEKKEN 8 Opening Movie Released

Get a taste of things to come with the opening trailer for Arika and Bandai Namco’s TEKKEN 8.

Set six months after TEKKEN 7, TEKKEN 8 will tell of the final confrontation between Kazuya Mishima and Jin Kazama. The ultimate family feud, Jin Kazama wants to kill the former to end their lineage’s chaos.

To add to the cinematic experience in TEKKEN 8, all character models and voice lines are new. There will also be stage destruction elements (with character reactions), along with 32 characters in all.

The world of TEKKEN 8 will make its way to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC in less than two weeks, on January 26. The first season of TEKKEN 8 DLC will have four characters, with Eddy being the first character released.

Pre-orders for the Standard Edition, Deluxe Edition, Ultimate Edition, and Collector’s Edition are now available on the official TEKKEN website. In the case of the Collector’s Edition, it includes the base game, Ultimate Edition Content, A Figurine + LED, 1 USB port, a steelbook, a ring, an arcade token, eight collectible cards, packaging, and a branded O-ring.
