Tekken 8’s Opening Movie Is a Stunner, Eddy Gordo Confirmed as First DLC Character

Bandai Namco has revealed the opening movie for Tekken 8, and it’s really bloody good. Fans of the series will know that every game has come with its own CG intro, and the upcoming instalment is no different. There’s loads of action, a bit of insight into the core conflict between Jin and Kazuya, and, perhaps most importantly, cool cameos from just about every character in the game’s base roster. It’s all very hype.

But that’s not all. Tekken 8’s first DLC character has been confirmed, and it’s a fresh-looking Eddy Gordo. The capoeira master will arrive this spring, and is the first of four promised characters (with the next three releasing in summer, autumn / fall, and winter respectively).
