Best Android Games Updates This Week

Let’s see what Google Play has got for us this week, shall we?

The Butcher in Diablo Immortal.

Diablo Immortal

Diablo Immortal received its latest major update this week, which introduces a ton of new content to battle through. The big new feature is the return of Tristram Cathedral, which sees you battling through an all-new dungeon as you strive to take on the Butcher Boss.

PvP gets a huge overhaul in this update too. The brand new Alley of Blood mode sees you and your team battling down a single-lane. Your goal is to wipe out your opponent’s Sentry Towers to reach the Crystal Heart. Destroy that and you win. Think of it as a single lane MOBA.

With new Legendary Gems, a ton of limited-time events, and wealth of PvP changes, this huge update is bound to keep you busy over the weekend. Learn more about this update on the official site.

Honkai Star Rail

This week’s update is the second phase of Honkai Star Rail’s huge 1.3 update. It introduces the brand new 5-star character Fu Xuan to the experience, as well as the 4-star Lynx. They are both in the banner right now if you’d like to throw your luck to the RNG gods.

The 1.3 update went by the title Celestial Eyes Above Mortal Ruins, and introduced the new character Imbibator Luna, which is Dan Heng’s new form. It also introduced a new map to explore, the Aurum Alley, a new Trailblaze Mission, and a bunch of new events.

Even if you did play this update at launch, there’s plenty here to keep you busy until the inevitable 1.4 update. Now, go see if you can get Fu Xuan!

Diablos in Monster Hunter Now.

Monster Hunter Now

Monster Hunter Now only launched last week, but Niantic has already launched the first major update. We wrote about it in a news this week. For those that didn’t read it, it introduced a brand new large monster, Diablos, and the game’s first event.

Diablos Invasion takes place this weekend, and will see Diablos appearing more often in the wild. Diablos likes desert regions, and will appear more often in parks, so make sure to grab some friends and visit a desert park near you this weekend.

The update also granted the pre-registration rewards to everyone who has played the game so far. Head to the in-game shop to grab these!

None of these work for you? Want to try out some all-new titles? Try out our feature on the best new Android games this week to get your fix of completely fresh new content.
