The inaugural Commonwealth Esports Championships and Commonwealth Esports Forum is here! The event will be taking place in August this year.

This is a huge deal for esports as recognition of it as a well-respected industry is emerging. Also, the huge event will cover a variety of esport video games and will feature different categories for each of these.

The event for the esports side will run alongside traditional sports. However, this may lead to lower viewerships but we will have to see comparisons between physical and digital sports.
