The Harry Potter: Magic Awakened Release Date Is Nearly Upon Us – Droid Gamers

The Harry Potter: Magic Awakened release date is fast approaching. The wizard game from the enormous media franchise hits Google Play on the 27th of June, and pre-registration is open now, with rewards available to all players if the pre-registration numbers hit certain milestones.

As of the time of writing this article, the pre-reg counter bar on the website sits dead between the two million and five million mark.

The next reward milestone grants all players a golden key, so if you plan to pick the game up it might be worth a punt on the pre-reg.

A New Addition To The Harry Potter Game Family

Harry Potter: Magic Awakened is the latest game within the Wizarding World franchise. It’s set to hit the virtual shelves with a little less controversy than its PC-console-based cousin Hogwarts Legacy.

Harry Potter: Magic Awakened is an altogether more stylized take on the wizarding school. The whole game presents itself in a quirky comic book style that you’re either going to adore or immediately dislike. We think it looks great.

The game sets out to replicate the experience that most Harry Potter fans want most. You become a student at the famous Hogwarts School Of Witchcraft And Wizardry. The sorting hat places your custom character into an appropriate house.

Wizard Things

From there on out you do wizard things. Learn spells, summon unicorns, brew potions, and explore Hogwarts and its environs.

You’re not alone in this either. The game allows you to team up with other players to explore the Forbidden Forest, hang out with fellow house members in the Common Room, or face off in wizard duels using the spell card system.

If this all sounds like your kind of thing, you can check the game out on Google Play.

If you need something to tide you over until the Harry Potter: Magic Awakened release date, there are a few magical titles in our best new Android games this week feature.
