The Super Mario Bros. Movie official poster released

Original (2/3): Nintendo and Illumination have shared the official poster for The Super Mario Bros. Movie. All of the major characters are here including Mario, Luigi, Peach, Toad, Bowser, and Donkey Kong.

We did see a few posters for The Super Mario Bros. Movie previously. However, these were character-specific. The one pictured above is what will really be used to promote the film.

The Super Mario Bros. Movie has ramped up its marketing over the past few months. Most recently, a commercial was released just a few days ago with a look at Cat Mario and fans were able to hear Seth Rogan playing Donkey Kong for the first time.

The rest of the cast includes Chris Pratt as Mario, Anya Taylor-Joy as Peach, Charlie Day as Luigi, Jack Black as Bowser, Keegan-Michael Key as Toad, Fred Armisen as Cranky Kong, Kevin Michael Richardson as Kamek, and Sebastian Maniscalco as Spike. Charles Martinet, the voice of Mario in the games, will also have some cameos. 

The Super Mario Bros. Movie will hit theaters on April 7, 2023. It was originally planned for last December before it was delayed.
