Three Grand Theft Auto Games Get Definitive Editions On Android With Netflix – Droid Gamers

Once again Netflix has shown that, love it or hate it, the streaming service is a growing source for premium titles and doesn’t seem to be slowing down. Netflix just announced a new upcoming addition to its roster, or rather, additions. Three Grand Theft Auto titles, in fact.

Definitive Editions of Grand Theft Auto III, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, and Grand Theft Auto San Andreas are available to pre-register now. If you’re a Netflix sub, you’ll be able to access them at no extra cost.

What To Expect

Never played a GTA game before? Well first, you’re a rare breed. Second, we’d be happy to fill you in on what to expect.

The GTA series is a franchise where you play as antiheroes involved in the criminal underworlds of various cities, which satirize iconic cities of the US. While your protagonist might start out with a few noble motivations, his path soon becomes fraught with illegal activity as he does whatever he needs to do to rise to the top.

That is, of course, how the main stories tend to shape up. We’d be lying if we said we played GTA games for the plot though. Mostly, we play GTA games for the thrill of causing mayhem on a grand scale.

You’re placed in an open world that isn’t at all limited by law or morality, and you’re free to attack, steal, and run amok as much as you like. As long as you don’t mind the police sending a helicopter after you with the intention of reducing you to a smear on the pavement with heavy weapons.

If this sounds like your cup of tea, you can pre-register for Grand Theft Auto III, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, and Grand Theft Auto San Andreas definitive editions, keep an eye on the Netflix Google Play page for details.
