One of my favorite parts of the FIFA/EA Sports FC Ultimate Team year is the first few days where you’re using the base cards of players you will probably replace for promotional cards in a few weeks or so. It’s always so much fun finding some hidden gems, and coming to get to know some new favorites for your team and unearthing a new mainstay in your club. This year, you can even bring them forward through the game thanks to Evolutions, which will be really fun to do. But for now, let’s focus on one section of the team, which is the Striker position. It’s one of the most important positions in the game, and finding a key player to help you out early on is always a good thing. Here’s our top 5 early game Strikers in EA Sports FC 24.

Top 5 early game Strikers in EA Sports FC 24

To start off with, I haven’t had extensive use out of all of these early game Strikers, as the game hasn’t been out long enough to use them for an extended period of time. But from my experience with previous year’s games, there’s a certain kind of player you’re going to be on the lookout for to fill this role. That’s usually a player with good-high pace, and a decent shooting stat to back that up. Dribbling is also nice too, but getting the trinity of those at a cheap price can be a bit hard in the early days. Here’s our top 5 (and a few extra honorable mentions) Strikers, in no particular order, in the early game of EA Sports FC 24.

Our first option for early game Striker in EA Sports FC 24, Elye Wahi

Elye Wahi is a fantastic option in Ligue 1. After having a look around, and toying with the idea of including Strikers such as Martin Terrier or Jonathan David, who both also look great, Wahi’s Playstyle+ and four star skills and weak foot were the things that made me pick him for our top 5. While his stamina isn’t the best at 70, he more than makes up for that with great pace, some good shooting stats, and even some pretty good dribbling stats too.

Ademola Lookman

Lookman is a bit on the expensive side, but you’re paying a bit higher than usual for an unbelievably good looking card. If you want another early game Striker from the Serie A who’s a bit cheaper, you can get great options like Luis Muriel and Marcus Thuram for cheaper. But Lookman’s 86 pace, 81 shooting, and 85 dribbling are hard to ignore.

Lynn Williams

Lynn Williams is probably my favorite early game Striker to use in EA Sports FC 24 so far. She comes in with a pretty expensive price for this list, coming in at around 2,000 coins at the time of writing, but she’s amazing in-game. The 92 pace, 82 shooting, and 81 dribbling makes her fantastic to use in EA Sports FC 24.

Leon Bailey is a great contender to be one of your early game Strikers in EA Sports FC 24. He comes in with 90 pace, 77 shooting, and 82 dribbling. Leon Bailey has been a mainstay for me over the years in FIFA, and the first EA Sports FC is no different.
