Trust Wallet Becomes First Web3 Company To Obtain Global Privacy Certifications

Trust Wallet, a prominent self-custodial wallet provider in the crypto industry, has achieved a historic milestone by becoming the first company to obtain global certifications for both security and privacy.

In a press release shared with Bitcoinworld, Trust Wallet announced that it has been awarded the ISO 27001 and ISO 27701 certifications for information security governance and privacy information management, setting new benchmarks for data management control.

Raising Standards For Web3 Companies

The Web3 wallet known for its user-friendly interface and seamless integration with decentralized applications (DApps) has now raised the bar for security standards in the Web3 space.

Trust Wallet said it was fully audited by A-LIGN, a technology-enabled security and compliance partner trusted by over 4,000 global organizations to address cybersecurity risks before it was granted the certificates.

“Security is always the priority at Trust Wallet, this milestone is a testament to our steadfast commitment to top-tier data security and privacy management,” said Chen.

Annual Surveillance Audits

The company’s CEO, who previously served as the Vice President at Binance, the parent company of Trust Wallet also recognized the efforts of the company’s team in securing the international security certificates.

As the first Web3 company to receive ISO 27001 and ISO 27701 certifications, Trust Wallet plans to undergo annual surveillance audits to ensure continuous compliance with the rigorous standards of the certificates.
