Two new Netflix games are now available on mobile

Netflix’s foray into the mobile space continues with the addition of two new titles. One is a card battler called Arcanium: Rise of Akhan that looks to be in the same vein as Hearthstone. There’s also a quirky and colourful hidden object game called Krispee Street, based on a popular webcomic.

Netflix launched its new gaming division in November 2021 with five games, including a couple of Stranger Things games. Since then, the total number of Netflix games available on the service has grown to twelve, with the addition of these two titles. Netflix has also had choice-based TV shows like the Bandersnatch episode of Black Mirror, as well as crossovers with famous game series like The Witcher and League of Legends, so moving into mobile gaming isn’t as unnatural as it may appear.

Supercombo and Rogue Games developed Arcanium: Rise of Akhan. The game launched on Steam Early Access in 2020, and combines rogue-lite elements and deckbuilding in a fantasy setting. Meanwhile, Krispee Street is a self-described feel-good hidden object game based on an Instagram webcomic.
