Uncapped Games Teases Summer Game Fest RTS Game Reveal – MonsterVine

Uncapped Games released a documentary video discussing the real-time-strategy (RTS) genre and teasing a full unveiling of their game at Summer Game Fest on June 7.

The Playa Vista based studio is comprised of members who worked on famous RTS games including Starcraft, Warcraft, Dawn of War, and Company of Heroes. Uncapped Games discussed the current mechanics of RTS games and hopes to create a game that appeals to a wider audience for fans of the genre.

“Players will define their own way to play, and focus on commanding fast-paced, large-scale battles,” said David Kim, senior game director of Uncapped Games. “Players will enjoy more moment-to-moment strategic decision making in each game, instead of waiting for that next fun action moment.”

Uncapped Games will reveal its RTS game on June 7 at Summer Game Fest and media will have their first hands-on with the title at Summer Games Fest Play Days.
