Pre-registration is open for Underground Blossom, a strange point-and-click adventure game and latest in the acclaimed Rusty Lake series. That’s not all though, there’s a free 20-minute demo up for grabs so you can try the game on for size ahead of its Android release. Nice.
Underground Blossom is a game where you ride through an underground metro, or at least that’s the surface level of your interactions. In reality, it’s a trip through the memories of a woman named Laura Vanderboom, a face that fans of the series might recognize.

The game involves traveling to seven different metro stations, each representing a period of time in Laura’s life. It will be up to you to use your wits, logic, and skills of deduction to reveal the secrets that hide within the echoing hallways of each.
You can check out the trailer below. A quick glance shows some moody scenes of moving trains, accompanied by a selection of rather shifty-looking characters lurking around the stations.
Rusty Lake is a series of eerie point-and-click adventure games by the developer of the same name. They’re surreal rides through different kinds of puzzles, in pursuit of a story. They’re intriguing, often grim, and sometimes a bit terrifying.
Weird And Wonderful Adventure Games
Rusty Lake, the developer that is, is no stranger to presenting games in innovative ways and utilizing the idea of time. One of its previous offerings, The Past Within, was a game with obligatory co-op where one player is in the past, the other in the future.
It’s not even necessarily limited by media type. In 2018 Rusty Lake released Paradox, a free short film set in the same universe.
Whatever Underground Blossom is like, we’re pretty certain it’s going to be a unique experience.
