Sentinels have added Michael “shroud” Grzesiek to their active Valorant division, the North American Organization announced today on their Twitter handle.

This roster update marks Shroud’s return to the competitive scene after over five years of inactivity since having last featured in Cloud9’s CS:GO squad although the Americas Minor of the IEM: Katowice 2019 Major was the last time we saw him don the Old Guys Club tag.

Shroud’s switch to Valorant and his move to Sentinels indeed took everyone by storm as it was never expected that he’d get back in the competitive scene. As far as the facts suggest, Shroud would be filling in the spot for Hunter “SicK” Mims at the forthcoming VCT North American Last Chance Qualifier.

As per Dot Esports, Shroud’s signing to Sentinels have been confirmed as the player would take up on Controller duties on the roster. Shahzeb “ShahZaM” Khan will resume the In-Game leader duties as revealed by Shroud on his stream.

With Shroud on board, Sentinels now have:

  • Shahzeb “ShahZaM” Khan
  • Hunter “SicK” Mims
  • Michael “dapr” Gulino
  • Tyson “TenZ” Ngo
  • Eric “kanepeki” Xu
  • Michael “shroud” Grzesiek
  • Shane “Rawkus” Flaherty (Head Coach)
