Where Is Xur Today? (February 2-6) Destiny 2 Exotic Items And Xur Location Guide

February is here, and while you won’t find a box of chocolates to hand out to your beloved, you can get the next best thing from roving arms dealer Xur. After all, what’s a better sign of affection than intergalactic weaponry and finely crafted armor? Here’s where you can find Xur this weekend and what he has for sale.

This week you can find Xur in The Tower, inside the Hangar. For his weapon, Xur is offering Prometheus Lens. Hunters can pick up Raiden Flux chest armor; Titans can grab the Hallowfire Heart chest armor; and Warlocks can buy the Felwinter’s Helm helmet.

Spawn in using the Courtyard transmat zone in the Tower to find Xur this week. Head left and down the stairs to enter the Hangar section, then hang another left. Make your way to the north end of the area and look for a staircase that will take you onto a catwalk, where Xur is waiting.

Exotic Armor

Raiden Flux (Exotic Hunter chest armor)

Raiden Flux (Ornament applied)

If you’re a Hunter main and you enjoy using an Arc subclass, Raiden Flux is a neat Exotic to have equipped once you activate your Arc Staff Super. With this chest armor, quick successive attacks with the Arc Staff will increase its damage and duration. Take out the cannon fodder when you’re wearing this, and you’ll do some terrific damage to a boss enemy. For the stats, resilience–useful for closing the gap–intellect, and strength are high, making this Exotic’s strengths stand out more, but recovery, discipline, and mobility are low.

  • Mobility: 8
  • Resilience: 25
  • Recovery: 2
  • Discipline: 2
  • Intellect: 17
  • Strength: 12
  • Total: 66

Hallowfire Heart (Exotic Titan chest armor)

Solar Titans are running hot this season, and with Hallowfire Heart, you’ll be even more powerful when you flex the fiery might of that subclass. Solar takedowns while standing in a Sunspot will create another Sunspot, and standing in one will improve the recharge rate of Solar abilities while your Super is charged. Resilience, discipline, and strength are high on this roll, but you’ll have to deal with low recovery and intellect on this chest armor.

  • Mobility: 9
  • Resilience: 19
  • Recovery: 7
  • Discipline:15
  • Intellect: 2
  • Strength: 16
  • Total: 68

Felwinter’s Helm (Exotic Warlock helmet)

Felwinter’s Helm

With this snazzy Warlock helmet, powered melee final blows will create a burst of energy that weakens nearby targets. As an extra feature, finishers and final blows against powerful targets will increase the radius of the burst and the length of the weakening effect, making this a good fit for Warlocks who use abilities like Penumbral Blast or Arcane Needle. The strength stat is very low, and the overall stats are not especially impressive, with a larger-than-ideal portion of that going to mobility.

  • Mobility: 10
  • Resilience: 6
  • Recovery: 15
  • Discipline: 12
  • Intellect: 18
  • Strength: 2
  • Total: 63

Exotic Weapons

Prometheus Lens (Exotic trace rifle)

You can’t go wrong with any Solar weapon this season, and Prometheus Lens is a terrific option to use in battle. Prismatic Inferno will hit your target with Scorch stacks from sustained fire, and the longer you fire this weapon, the bigger the field of heat energy grows around your target, damaging more enemies. It’ll also reload from reserves when you land a final blow, making this a good option to use against cannon fodder while you have specific seasonal mods active.

  • Prismatic Inferno
  • Chambered Compensator
  • Projection Fuse
  • Flame Refraction
  • Composite Stock

Hawkmoon (Exotic hand cannon)

This is a dead-average roll of Hawkmoon, but it’s better than last week’s terrible version. Snapshot Sights is the weapon perk of the week, allowing you to aim down the sights more quickly.

  • Paracausal Shot
  • Chambered Compensator
  • Alloy Magazine
  • Snapshot Sights
  • Textured Grip

Xur is present every weekend in Destiny 2, starting with the daily reset at 9 AM PT / 12 PM ET each Friday. His exact location is always a mystery when he first arrives, as he is not listed on the map, and for novice players, he can be easy to miss. However, there are a set number of locations where he takes up residence, including the Tower Hangar area, on Nessus in Watcher’s Grave, and in the Winding Cove area of the EDZ.
