Where to find the Graveyard Detonator in Warzone 2 DMZ

Warzone 2 Season 4 Reloaded has just launched, and with it, we have a new map to explore. Vondel is the latest locale to loot and plunder in Warzone 2 DMZ. If you’re an experienced DMZ player, you’ll know that each map is crammed full of secrets and quests to complete. Vondel is no different, and one particular quest line has you hunting down Detonators all across the map. If the Graveyard has you stumped, let me show you where to find the Graveyard Detonator in Warzone 2 DMZ.

The Detonator quests are a little tricky because the quest items don’t have static spawns. Since the spawns are different each time you load the map, I can’t show you an exact location. Still, I can show you what you’re looking for, where I found mine, and what to watch out for.

To start things off, make your way to the location I’ve circled on the map above. You’ll know you’re in the right spot as you’ll be prompted with dialogue. The Graveyard is usually crawling with AI soldiers, so try and take them out before you start hunting.

My Detonator spawned in the wooden structure on the floor. Yours may not, but it’s an excellent place to begin your search. If you can’t see it, watch for the white hue that indicates items you can interact with. If you draw a blank in the Graveyard, you can exfil and try again, as that should shake up non-static spawns.

I keep getting killed before I reach the Detonator. Any tips?

Unfortunately, the Graveyard is a hot zone thanks to its location. Other Detonator locations, like the University, are much safer as they are on the edge of the map. The Graveyard is liable to be attacked from all angles, and the Armored truck that drives around the map sometimes patrols nearby.

Most missions in DMZ are much easier if you go with a teammate. If that’s not an option, slowly make your way to the Graveyard and take routes through buildings whenever you can. You’re very visible if you approach down the main street, so avoid that unless you want your head taken off. Most teams and strong players will likely rush the area if they need the Detonator and then leave. If you take your time, other players will be gone long before you arrive.

If you get killed, remember that you can call for help from other players. Most people realize that a larger team is simply a net gain for them, so you’ll usually get a second chance. If you get revived, you’re not obligated to follow your new friends around, but you can try and communicate and see if they’ll help. Even if you’ve not got a mic, you can ping the Graveyard and see if anyone will go with you.

Ultimately, try not to get disheartened. Once you start to learn your way around Vondel, the Detonator quests will be much easier.
