While there are some agents more popular than others, every one of them can be useful in different situations. While players might argue about which agent might be the worst regardless of the situation, statistics have pointed out one agent with the worst possible win rate in radiant matches.
The agent in question in KAY/O. KAY/O has been one of the agents that was in the meta for some time before Riot decided to balance it out to the point it has fallen out of favour with the players. Metas shift and it’s nothing out of the ordinary for a Valorant agent to not be a common pick like they once used to be but recent reports suggest something surprisingly shocking.
According to a report by Blitz.gg, KAY/O has the worst win rate, i.e. 47% behind Yoru and Harbour, two agents aren’t a first choice among players but when compared to the top choice Phoenix, the agent hailing from Britain boasts a win rate of 51.9% and sits above all other agents. While the numbers might not be too far from each other, the fact that KAY/O sits at the bottom speaks volumes.
This fall in statistics can be blamed on the several nerfs that Riot has put KAY/O through. KAY/O looks pale compared to the options that we have most notably Skye. Skye is by far the initiator of choice among players and unless Riot tweaks her abilities or introduces a new agent, it will be very hard to replace her from her throne.
