FIFA 23 will be adding new Icons to FIFA Ultimate Team, adding to the list of over 100 football legends. Some of the new Icons have already been leaked, including Alfredo Di Stefano and David Villa.
According to leaks from FutSheriff and FifaRomania on Twitter, the next new Icon coming to FIFA 23 is Spanish midfielder, Xabi Alonso. He was well known as a defensive midfielder for Real Madrid, Liverpool, and Bayern Munich, and is regarded as one of the strongest midfielders in the history of Spanish football.

The leaked card is an 87-rated CDM version of Alonso, and it’s unclear whether the stats are official or which version of his Icon card this is predicting. Most likely, Xabi’s base icon card will be 86-87 rated, so this may be what the card looks like on game launch.
EA has yet to confirm or deny this leaked Icon, however, if Alonso does recieve an Icon card in FIFA 22, it will be his first time appearing in FIFA 22 since FIFA 17.
