Shack Chat: What is your earliest, or fondest, memory of Doom?

Shacknews editors gather 'round to wax nostalgic and bloody about our earliest, and/or fondest memories of id Software's Doom franchise. Shacknews started as Quakeholio, a Quake fansite (obviously).
