Pokémon GO’s Community Day for July 2022 has just been announced. The monthly event will take place on July 17 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Once a month, Pokémon GO has a Community Day, where Niantic features one Pokémon and provides players rewards related to that Pokémon. For the month of July, the featured Pokémon is Starly, the Normal and Flying Type Pokémon originating in the Sinnoh Region.
According to the official blog post about July’s Community Day, players will receive double the chance of receiving Starly Candy XL. Additionally, players can spend $1 to buy the Special Research story called Field Notes: Starly.

Starly will appear more frequently on Sunday, July 17, 2022, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. local time.

In addition to Starly-related rewards, Pokémon GO’s Community Day also features general rewards to give players a leg-up over other trainers. These rewards include triple the Catch XP, double Candy for catching Pokémon, and trades only require half the usual Stardust.
Since its initial release in 2016, Pokémon GO has received continuous updates featuring new gameplay modes, events, and plenty of new Pokémon from the previous Pokémon games. Despite the player base steadily decreasing since its release, Pokémon GO is still incredibly popular with an estimated 80 million monthly players.
