Astralis Talent player Mikkel “MistR” Thomsen will step in for the Danish powerhouse at the upcoming Regional Major Ranking event.
Astralis have announced that Kristian “k0nfig” Wienecke has suffered a “complicated ankle fracture” and that he will require a lot of rest over the coming days and weeks.
It’s unclear for how long the 25-year-old will be out of action, but at the very least he will miss the IEM Road to Rio RMR A tournament taking place from October 4-9, the organization has revealed.
Astralis will attempt to qualify for the IEM Rio Major without k0nfig
The Danish powerhouse will fight at the all-important tournament for a spot at the IEM Rio Major with one of their academy players, MistR, who has supposedly been submitted as their official reserve player ahead of the roster deadline for the RMR event.
