2022 NBA coaching changes

The NBA season has wrapped, which, as expected, came with head coach firings. Here is a quick list of the teams with new head coaches and whom they’ve fired and hired for the 2022-2023 season. This list will be updated as other teams make coaching changes.

  • Los Angeles Lakers hire Milwaukee Bucks assistant Darvin Ham
    • (Frank Vogel fired)
  • Sacramento Kings hire Golden State Warriors associate head coach Mike Brown
    • (Luke Walton fired midseason, Alvin Gentry fired after regular season)
  • Charlotte Hornets hire former Orlando Magic head coach Steve Clifford
    • (James Borrego fired)
  • Utah Jazz hire Boston Celtics assistant coach Will Hardy
    • (Quin Snyder fired)
