Alien’s Iconic Xenomorph Is Coming to PS5, PS4’s Dead by Daylight

Wow! Dead by Daylight continues to expand at an impressive rate, and it’s somehow surpassed the addition of Nicolas Cage as a survivor. Teased earlier today, with a full announcement to follow on 8th August, developer Behaviour Interactive has confirmed that it’s partnering with 20th Century Studios to bring Alien to the game.

There are no further announcements at this stage, but we do see what appears to be a new map, likely inspired by the 1979 movie’s Nostromo, as well as a close-up of the iconic Xenomorph. We’re going to assume the latter will be added as a new Killer, but there’s also potential for Sigourney Weaver’s Ripley to be a survivor here, too.

“The suffocating silence of outer space pushes resolve beyond its limits,” the trailer blurb teases. As we mentioned, more will be announced next week, so watch this space.
