Apex Legends Update 1.99 Patch Notes Today (June 30)

Apex Legends has once again received a brand new update as patch 1.99 goes live across PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Nintendo Switch on Thursday, June 30.

The update in question doesn’t include any new content, but there are some further bug fixes and quality of life improvements to enhance the overall stability of the game. Although Season 13 kicked off strong, the Battle Royale has been riddled with multiple issues since.

One of the latest issues to plague the game is, unfortunately, exclusive to Xbox and PC users. Players who use an Xbox controller, whether that be on a console or PC, are experiencing an input delay. Of course, in a first-person shooter, input delay can be the difference between a win and a death.

Fans are hopeful that the June 30 Apex Legends update will fix the input delay issues, as well as multiple other bugs.

Apex Legends Update 1.99 Patch Notes For Thursday, June 30

We’re still waiting for Respawn Entertainment to confirm exactly what changes were made in the latest Apex Legends update, with a full changelog expected to be shared by the developers shortly. In the meantime, the game’s official Trello Board does detail what changes are being investigated and worked on.

The following issues are currently marked as “coming in a future patch”, which means we can likely expect some or all of them to be included in the latest update:

  • Loba’s tactical fails on certain Storm Point terrain
  • Xbox – some headsets not picking up the players mic
  • Predator Ranks getting incorrect rewards

Of course, as mentioned previously, fans are also hopeful that the patch contains a fix for the input delay for Xbox controllers. We expect to find out official details from Respawn Entertainment shortly, so stay tuned as we will be updating this article with the full patch notes once available.
