‘Assassin’s Creed Jade’ Is the Official Name for Ubisoft and Level Infinite’s AAA Mobile Open World RPG, New Gameplay Trailer Released – TouchArcade

Ubisoft and Level Infinite officially announced that Assassin’s Creed Codename Jade is titled Assassin’s Creed Jade at the latter’s Into the Infinite showcase. If you’ve not followed it, Assassin’s Creed Jade is a brand-new Assassin’s Creed game built for mobile. It will be free to play, and promises AAA open world RPG gameplay featuring character creation, iconic Assassin’s Creed gameplay, and more optimized for touch controls. Ubisoft previously confirmed that the game will have parkour from roof to roof, multiple ways of assassinating targets, and a big evolving world as well. A second closed beta is planned with more information to be revealed on the official website. As of this writing, pre-orders and pre-registrations are not live. A release window is yet to be announced, but today’s gameplay looks excellent. It remains to be seen how the monetization is handled. I love the newer style RPG-focused Assassin’s Creed games, so will definitely check this out whenever it launches worldwide on iOS.
