Asus will reduce its graphics cards prices by up to 25% in April

20210223020040After dealing with absurd pricing across the graphics card market for quite some time, things could finally be easing up. According to an email sent to Tom’s Hardware, Asus will lower the prices of its GeForce RTX 30 Series graphics cards by up to 25%. This new pricing will take effect on April 1, but don’t worry, this isn’t an April Fools’ Day trick.
The reason behind this upcoming price change is the recent tariff lift on Chinese imports coming to the U.S. As such, prices can finally start going down. For now, only Asus has come forward to announce a reduction in graphics cards prices. But it’s possible that other companies will follow suit and lower their prices as well, which is something we’ve kept an eye on.
 
Another interesting thing to note is that the email apparently only mentioned GeForce RTX 30 Series cards. There was no mention of price cuts for older generations of Nvidia GPUs, or any of AMD’s lineup. That isn’t muc…
