Backpack Battles Cards: List of All Cards and Their Effects

Here is a complete list of all the Backpack Battles Cards and their effects in the game during a combat round

Backpack Battles is the latest game release of 2024 developed by PlayWithFurcifer. Being a strategic inventory management PvP auto-battler type of game, it naturally has a system of using playing cards for strategic plays. Thus, here is a complete list of all the Backpack Battles Cards and their effects in the game during a combat round explained in detail.

Backpack Battles Cards or Playing Cards can be obtained in the game after buying an item called the “Deck of Cards.” The item costs 3 Gold to purchase in the shop. It is an item of the Reaper class with a Rarity level of “Rare.” There are a total of 5 Playing Cards in the Deck of Cards that you can obtain.

Once the Deck of Cards is added to your backpack, you instantly get one card in the spot for it. The item will no longer show up in the shop as you can only own one of these items. Then you can roll the cards in the shop as they will be added to the possible pool of items you can roll.

However, keep in mind that in order to roll them, you need to place the Playing Cards in a chain along with the Deck of Cards item in your backpack. After that, the cards will activate in sequence as each of the combat rounds progresses forward and they are revealed one by one. Once one card is revealed, it takes 1.5 seconds for the next Star card to be revealed.

Now, without further ado, here is a complete list of all the Backpack Battles Cards and their effects during combat in a round:

Ace of Spades

Item Effect: Upon reveal, your next hit is critical. If the number of cards you revealed before revealing this card is odd, gain 2 Luck, which is a buff that increases your accuracy by 5% and 2 Spikes, which is also a buff that deals 1 damage per stack every time it is hit with a Melee Weapon with up to 100% of the damage.

The first card on the deck is the Ace of Spades, which costs 4 Gold and it has a Rarity level of “Rare.” After the Ace of Spades card has been revealed, if the first item to hit the opponent is The Lovers and Holo Fire Lizard card, then the damage from them both together can crit i.e. become a critical hit.

Darkest Lotus

Item Effect: Upon reveal, generate 3 Mana, which is a resource used by Magical items, along with 3 Mana for each card you revealed before revealing this card. For every Mana above 10, remove a random buff from your opponent instead.

The second card on the deck is the Darkest Lotus, which costs 7 Gold and it has a Rarity level of “Godly.” After the Darkest Lotus card has been revealed, you will generate Mana and for each Mana you generate after you reach 10, you will make your opponent lose a random buff every time. The buffs that are removed from your opponent will be chosen from a random buff type, not from the total number of buffs your opponent has.

An example of this card’s effect is, say this is the 2nd card, meaning there is 1 card before it, the effect will try to generate 3 + 3×1 = 6 Mana in total. If you had 0 mana before this, it will give you the 6 Mana and remove 0 buffs from your opponent, because buffs are removed after you reach 10 Mana and go above that. If you already have 6 Mana, it will instead generate 6 more Mana, which will get you up to the maximum of 10 and then remove the buffs accordingly from there.

As for removing the buffs, say that your opponent has 40 Mana, 5 Luck and 2 Spike. Then, you try to remove 1 buff from them. In this case, the game will remove 1 buff randomly, so it is likely that 1 Spike will be removed as 1 Mana.

Holo Fire Lizard

Item Effect: Upon reveal, deal 10 damage along with 4 damage for each card you revealed before revealing this card. You also gain 3 Heat, which makes all items get triggered 2% faster per stack.

The third card on the deck is the Holo Fire Lizard, which costs 6 Gold and it has a Rarity level of “Legendary.” The Holo Fire Lizard card is a simple card with no extra effects other than dealing damage. This card is used in the recipe to craft the Ranged Weapon known as “Ruby Chonk” which requires the Holo Fire Lizard card and another craftable Ranged Weapon known as “Ruby Whelp”, which is in turn crafted by having a Ruby Egg in your backpack for two rounds straight.

The Lovers

Item Effect: Upon reveal, steal 11 life or health from your opponent instantly. If the number of cards you revealed before revealing this card is even, gain 2 Regeneration, which is a buff that helps you regenerate 1 Health per stack every 2 seconds.

The fourth card on the deck is The Lovers, which costs 3 Gold and it has a Rarity level of “Common.” Just like its Rarity level, this card is very common with its effect merely allowing you to regenerate health or steal 11 life from your opponent.

White-Eyes Blue Dragon

Item Effect: Upon reveal, gain 12 Shield instantly along with 5 more Shield for each card you revealed before revealing this card. You also inflict 3 Cold, which is a debuff that makes all items trigger 2% slower per stack.

The fifth card on the deck is the White-Eyes Blue Dragon, which costs 5 Gold and it has a Rarity level of “Epic.” It is a Shield regeneration card which is amazing to make your opponents frustrated.

The Fool

Item Effect: Upon reveal, other cards in the deck are revealed 25% faster. If this is the first card in the chain that you reveal, you gain 1 Empower, which is a buff that increases weapon damage by 1 per stack.

The sixth and last, but definitely not the least, card on the deck is The Fool, which has a Rarity level of “Epic.” This is a straightforward card that has little to no value except providing a silly little buff or speed boost, which makes it foolish just like the name says.

Needless to say, the Backpack Battles Cards or Deck of Cards is a must-have item in the game because of just how great they are. They might be a more pricy investment than regular items but it is worth it in the long run for sure. Thus, make sure to get them for your inventory as soon as you come across them in the Shop.
