Wigan Athletic will kick off their preparations for the new campaign on Tuesday as they make a trip to Sir Tom Finney Stadium to take on Bamber Bridge.
The non-league outfit have already gotten their pre-season campaign underway with a fixture against Preston North End, and they will be hoping for an improved result this time round.

There has been a distinct lack of signings for Richardson’s side in summer so far, but the team that got promoted remains for the Latics, which they will no doubt believe is strong enough.
