Hello everyone!
In January we announced the start of BSL Season 14 Ladder Stage and plan for 2022, at that time I announced that I will become a full time tournament organizer and I will give myself a year to make it profitable. It’s been 9 months since that moment. It’s a good time to sum up what we have done, what are my plans for the next 3-4 months and what are the perspectives for 2023.
Events organized in 2022 so far
Main Points
- We distributed: ~$14 000 in prize pools
- During BSL14 & BSL15 players played over 100 000 games in ladder
- During BSL14 & BSL15 we implemented regional qualifications
- Number of countries in ladder stages: 50+
- Proleague was streamed in few different languages
- Every match from GosuLeague and 2v2 ProLeague was casted in English in Spanish
- Most of the matches from RO16 of Hasuleague and Choboleague were casted;
- We delivered over 350 hours of SC:R content

I think that’s why glumaisa is asking. It would be nice to see the numbers across all the streams and platforms.

glumaisa, every language in total we reached over 2100 viewers this season.
We also experimented with 17:00 CEST as a start hour, next season we will be back on 18:00 CET / 18:30 CET.

I would love to see lower level 2v2 tournaments! It would be amazing for shield battery if there were Gosu, Hasu and Chobo leagues, and the ladder phase of the tournament had tons of 2v2 games going on. This might mean from Gosu and lower it is only for glory, but it be fun.
