DayZ receives a handful of fixes in the 1.18 version on both PC and consoles through a new update today. All fixes recently hit the Experimental servers.

According to a new post on the game’s forum, DayZ servers are now down for maintenance on PC and consoles as the developers are transitioning the fixes tested in Experimental servers to the live servers.

These new fixes include eliminating the issue where you could see the inventories of players who are broke from restrains. Also, the new patch fixes a server inventory error that you might have faced recently in the game.

Below, you can check out the full patch notes for PC and Console versions of the DayZ update for today:

Bugs (PC & Consoles):

  • Fixed: An issue where one could see inventories of players that broke from restrains/woke up from the unconscious
  • Fixed: Server error message related to the inventory

Server (PC):

  • Fixed: Launcher mistakenly reporting Livonia DLC being required for Chernarus servers

While the PC servers should come back online soon, the console servers just went offline and are expected to become online again at 9 am ET/1 pm UTC/3 pm CEST.

DayZ 1.18 officially went live over a month earlier, introducing a wide variety of explosive weapons such as grenade launchers, detonation units, fireworks launchers, gas canisters, and claymore mines. The update also included a number of minor balance changes as well as tons of bug fixes.

Today’s update is the fourth hotfix on consoles and the fifth hotfix on PC since the launch of 1.18 back in June 2022. Regarding the fact that the new patch only brings a few bug fixes, it hopefully won’t require you to download a large file.

Aside from DayZ, Bohemia Interactive is currently working on Arma Reforger as well, which is supposed to be a brand new platform for the fans of the series to provide feedback for the developers regarding the launch of Arma 4, which is currently the biggest ongoing project at Bohemia Interactive as far as we know.

The content support of DayZ still seems to be in place for a long future as the game still has a lot of concurrent players on Steam.
