Dolphins Sign Tyler Kroft to 1-Year Deal

Miami has signed a tight end to help them with their quest to top the AFC East in 2023-2024. Tyler Kroft has been picked up by the Dolphins on a one-year deal worth a yet undisclosed amount of money (at time of writing).

The NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported the news on Tuesday afternoon.

Kroft was a third round pick (85th overall) in the 2015 NFL Draft. He was picked by the Cincinnati Bengals, playing for them for four years before heading to Buffalo in 2019. After two years in Buffalo followed by one with the Jets, then one with the 49ers, Kroft is heading to his third team in three years

In 2022, his only year in San Francisco, Kroft played in 11 games, starting just four of those. He caught four passes on five targets for 57 yards and no touchdowns. His best scoring year came in 2017, in which he caught seven touchdowns.
