Dynasty Warriors Is Getting A Mobile Game – Droid Gamers

A trailer is out and Dynasty Warriors M is on the way! The hack-and-slash game is the latest in a long line of PC and console titles getting more mobile additions for their franchises.

Of course, we’re always pleased to see more big titles on the objectively best platform, but the proof of quality in such titles can be inconsistent.

Will It Give The Experience?

The trailer gives us some show-off visuals before cutting to the gameplay. The big question when you combine ‘Dynasty Warriors’ and ‘mobile’ is an obvious one. Will the battles be big and impressive?

Well, the footage we saw demonstrated the player facing off against a fairly large, if not army-sized number of enemies.

The sneaky cut to a cutscene in the trailer showing tons of enemies didn’t fool us. It’ll be interesting to see how things develop as we see more from the game. The gameplay we’ve seen from the soft launch is pretty similar to Dynasty Warriors 9, accounting for scale and gaming power, obviously.

So what is Dynasty Warriors all about? The series is a set of hacky-slashy games set in historical China. (Except the first one, but we don’t talk about the first Dynasty Warriors.) You take the role of one of the storied generals in the Three Kingdoms era of China and take part in pivotal battles.

Solve The War Of The Three Kingdoms Personally

This isn’t a Total War game though, instead of setting out to manage your troops from afar, you handle the battles in a slightly more hands-on way. That is to say, you go out with the intention of punching every single soldier in the opposing army to death personally.

Huge battles with you bringing whirling death to whole divisions of troops is the kind of gameplay you show up for.

If the idea of that on mobile appeals to you, it may be worth following the official site and signing up for the pre-reg.
