Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2 Brings More Blocky Chaos to PS5, PS4 in September

Did you play Earth Defense Force: World Brothers? A block-based take on the long-running series, the 2021 release was a blast — especially in co-op with a friend or two. And now, its previously announced sequel — the suitably titled Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2 — has a launch date.

It’s bringing mission-based chaos to PS5 and PS4 on the 26th September, and it’s promising “an all-new enemy that threatens to tear the Earth apart all over again”. But of course!

Going by the press release, this sequel is shaping up to be more of the same — but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. You’ll once again build your own squad of crazy characters, with loads of classes and weapons to unlock as you progress through objectives. And, naturally, you’ll be able to team up with three other players online.
